EVENT: BAMESTREAM Bereavement ‘Grieving Space’ Cafe
‘Grieving 2gether’
A grieving space for the Black Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) community to come together in their grief during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
We will reflect on our grief and how we mourn differently as individuals and as people from different cultural groups and communities. You will have the opportunity to explore your own experiences of grief or simply listen to others in small groups.
We will end with an open space where everyone is free to share (or not) in the wider group what bereavement means on an individual and collective basis perhaps as couples, families or communities, as well as share ways of coping.
Hosted by counselling psychologists from the Black & Asian Counselling Psychologists’ Group (BACPG)
