Hackney Thinking Spaces is back with Her Story, a free six-week creative workshop designed for young Black and Global Majority women aged 12–19. The programme provides a safe and supportive environment where young women can explore their experiences, express themselves creatively, and connect with others who share similar journeys.
What to Expect
Running over six Saturdays, Her Story encourages participants to explore their identities and experiences through creativity and conversation. The programme focuses on self-expression, community, and emotional wellbeing.
A testimonial from a previous participant highlights the impact of the programme:
“This group helped me realise that my feelings about racism and school weren’t me being ‘too sensitive’ – they were real.”
~Young Woman, 12–19
