Honoured to Join Nafsiyat Intercultural Therapy Centre as Patron

It is a great honour to serve as Patron of Nafsiyat Intercultural Therapy Centre, one of the longest-running charities in the UK providing counselling and therapeutic interventions that truly reflect the cultural, religious, linguistic, and identity needs of Black and racialised communities.

The work of Nafsiyat Intercultural Therapy Centre is more critical than ever, in a time when structural and violent racism continues to rise — a period in which our communities are being further dehumanised, and our place in Britain increasingly questioned and gaslighted.

I wholeheartedly support Nafsiyat Intercultural Therapy Centre in its mission to ensure that mental health and wellbeing support across the NHS and public health services is anti-racist, culturally competent, and inclusive by design.
