Invitation to Share Your Feedback – 11th Biennial Jamaica Diaspora Conference Survey
The Jamaican High Commission has announced that the 11th Biennial Jamaica Diaspora Conference (JDC) will take place in Montego Bay, Jamaica, from 14–18 June 2026. As preparations begin, members of the Jamaican Diaspora are being invited to play an active role in shaping a conference that reflects the priorities, aspirations, and lived experiences of Jamaicans both at home and abroad.
The Conference comes at a significant moment for the nation. In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, Jamaica is focused on rebuilding with resilience, strengthening partnerships, and accelerating sustainable development. Against this backdrop, the 2026 Conference will place particular emphasis on empowering the global Jamaican community to contribute meaningfully to national recovery, economic growth, and long-term transformation.
To ensure the programme responds directly to the needs and interests of the Diaspora, the Jamaican High Commission is inviting members of the global community to complete a consultation survey. Feedback from the survey will guide the planning process, help refine key areas of Diaspora interest, and support the development of relevant sessions and initiatives for the Conference.
The survey can be accessed here
The High Commission has encouraged respondents to share their views at the earliest opportunity, noting that these insights will be central to delivering a Conference that recognises the strength, creativity, and commitment of the Jamaican Diaspora worldwide.
Those who wish to receive official updates about the 11th Biennial Jamaica Diaspora Conference, including information on participation opportunities, are invited to register their interest by contacting cro@jhc.uk.com. This will ensure continued engagement with what is described as a premier gathering of global Diaspora leaders and stakeholders.
The invitation, issued by Vivienne Siva, Community Relations Officer at the Jamaican High Commission in London, reinforces the importance of Diaspora voices in shaping Jamaica’s future and sustaining strong connections between the nation and its global family.
