Professional Development & Leadership Conference

The British Caribbean Doctors and Dentists Association (BCDD) is hosting its Professional Development & Leadership Conference 2025, a transformative day designed to empower healthcare professionals of Caribbean heritage. Held in collaboration with the Healthcare Leadership Academy (HLA), this in-person event brings together knowledge, mentorship, and community under one roof.

Through a carefully curated programme of keynotes, panel talks, and hands-on workshops, the conference aims to equip attendees with the leadership tools to drive change, challenge inequality, and shape the future of medicine and dentistry.

Prof Patrick Vernon OBE will deliver a keynote address titled “Carrying the Torch: Windrush Legacy and Leadership.”

Workshops:

Please note you will be required to register for the workshops at the time of booking. Workshops are split into two sessions with two separate streams running concurrently at each session. We will of course try our best to accommodate your choices for both sessions, however due to room capacities this may not be possible. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
