CIRCA and Black Cultural Archives: Windrush Memories – shown on Piccadilly Lights featuring Patrick Vernon OBE

CIRCA, in collaboration with Black Cultural Archives, presented a curated film of public submissions of memories of arrival from audiences connected to the Windrush Generation to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Windrush. The presentation was shown on Piccadilly Lights on Windrush Day, 22 June 2023, and coincided with CIRCA’s global screening of Arrival by Sir Frank Bowling OBE RA in celebration of 70 years since his arrival in the UK.
