EVENT: 10th March 2021 – Vaccination Matters In Ealing’s Black & Brown Communities
Two Ealing-based nurse practitioners, Mrs. Elmie Munday and Mrs. Maame Adwoa Musey, will speak at the upcoming virtual Public Meeting, ‘Vaccination Matters in Black & Brown Communities’, Wednesday 10 March , 8-10 pm. Also confirmed to speak are award-winning Windrush campaigner, author and Black historian, Patrick Vernon, OBE, Alyson Malach, Director of Equality & Diversity UK, Abdi Duale (Senor Communications Manager), Leader of Ealing Council, Julian Bell, Dr. Rupa Huq MP, Dr. Su Sukumaran, Dr Onkar Sahota, Councillor Hitesh Tailor and myself. BTW Elmie is of South African heritage & has a special interest in the South African variant.
The meeting’s aim is to provide a supportive and culturally sensitive space for members of Ealing’s Black African-Caribbean, Asian, Arab, and other Minority Ethnic communities to have constructive conversations with the key speakers about the vaccine(s) and creative a positive forum so that various communities can feel comfortable about taking one of them.
