Jamaican-born World War II veteran Gilbert Constantine Clarke has been remembered as “courageous and humble” following his passing at the age of 100.
Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, in 1925, Mr. Clarke enlisted in the Royal Air Force at just 16 years old, serving as a radar mechanic during World War II. He celebrated his 100th birthday in late 2025, marking a century of resilience and service.
